Q: (I apologize for spelling - no spell check)I am an alcoholic but I choose not to drink and have been sober for years. My BF is friends with another girl who is a total alcoholic but chooses to get tanked everyday all the time with no regard for anyone.

It is very very very hard to be friends with an alcoholic who hasn't cleaned up his or her act, especially when you have done your best with your own alcoholism. It is dangerous for you as a recovering alcoholic to hang out with people who routinely
