Tropical Beach Wedding Koh Samui Thailand

However, there are many challenges that you need to face when you decide to marry in Koh Samui. The most important is the planning aspect.

So here is a press release presenting “One Perfect Day”, a wedding planning company in Koh Samui Thailand.

Before making any decisions it is advisable to do some more research on the company .

Even better, try to get in contact with a couple that has used their services and see how they liked it (or not).

- – -

Experience counts a lot when you look for wedding planners. There are few wedding coordinators who specialize in tropical beach weddings. Most of them are upstarts who have scant experience in organizing perfect beach weddings.

However, there are select wedding planners who already sponsored hundreds of beach weddings in Koh Samui. One of the best planners for a Koh Samui wedding is One Perfect Day. This outfit has extensive experience in organizing tropical beach weddings in and around the beaches of Koh Samui. It can also plan traditional Thai weddings for you because the company’s local experts have a firm grasp of the local culture.

Aside from extensive experience, they offer a wide range of wedding packages. It is not enough to choose a planner that can only organize a common informal beach wedding. What you need is a planner that can customize the event based on your unique requirements.

So if you want a normal western style beach wedding, then this should be included in the package. But if you want a more elaborate Lanna wedding complete with culturally correct traditional practices, then the wedding planner should be capable of pulling off such an event as well.

If you are dreaming of the best beach weddings Koh Samui Thailand, you need to carefully evaluate the all-inclusive packages offered by the wedding planning professional.

Lastly, make sure that that the wedding planners have deep contacts among local wedding suppliers. This is important because you will not have the time to select local suppliers.

Attractions at Koh Samui that leave you spellbound - air jordan ...

Thailand has many islands where tourists may enjoy traditional Thai culture, foods, sights and of course Thai massage. Koh Samui is the third largest island in Thailand and has many varied attractions.

One of Koh Samui’s most famous and popular attractions is the 15 metres tall sitting statue of Buddha. It was made in 1972 by a local society to give locals a place to worship. This statue is placed on the islands Northern shore and can be easily seen from a distance. There are stunning views from the upper level, which forms the base of the statue. Another religious spot is the Sawadee Shrine of Brahma at the IT complex in Lamai, which attracts a large number of people with reverence and faith. At Hin Ta Hin Ya in south Lamai, there are strangely shaped rocks said to have originated from the bodies of an old shipwrecked couple.

For nature lovers, there are the beautiful Namuang waterfalls 10 kms south from Nathan at Ban Thurian. There are two waterfalls – Namuang one (18 m high) may be reached by a vehicle. Namuang two (80 m high) can be reached by a 30-minute walk. There are gorgeous views all around. The Hin Lad waterfalls two kms south of Nathan are in rain forest area and can be reached only by a 4 kms walk though country roads. There’s also the Magic Buddha Garden in the hilly region with several statues of Buddha, temples and waterfalls. The Na Tian Butterfly Garden is a must see. It is at the bottom of the hill in the south of the island. There are a staggering variety of butterflies on show along with a Thai style house for bees and an insect museum. Another must-visit is the Snake Farm, which houses several varieties of snakes, scorpions, centipedes and other crawlies. There are also special shows during the day at 1100 hrs and 1240 hrs – good informative fun for family and kids. The newest attraction is the Paradise Park Farm. Set in 20 acres the Paradise Park is a beautiful verdant vision in cool mountainous regions. A visitor will enjoy the tropical rainforest greenery, waterfall, small rivers, and of course exotic wildlife.

Koh Samui ? Here comes the land of serene beauty

Hubby dearest and I had started getting on each other’s nerves a little too often. Reason? Vacation addicts need their regular shots of vacation breaks (no matter how small), but our work schedules had kept us to the grindstone for more than a year and a half. So we decided to lighten our mood with a well-earned holiday.  Romantically, we decided on our honeymoon country – Thailand.  Phuket was a common destination, so we decided to give it a miss. We wanted someplace different, away from the maddening tourist crowd, maybe a bit funky.  Then we stumbled upon Koh Samui on the internet – I fell in love with the name instantaneously- it had a wine-like quality to it when it rolled off your tongue.  Koh Samui.  Some more research revealed some interesting facts – that it is the third largest island of Thailand, located at the Gulf of Thailand, and is surrounded by sixty other islands.  Photographs of white sandy beaches, crystal clear water, corals, swaying coconut trees (coconuts were the main cash crop) had me drooling.

Koh Samui boasts of many tourist attractions include Angthong National Marine Park, also known as the Golden Basin, where we could also indulge in snorkeling. The Samui Aquarium is a popular undersea world, while the Tiger Zoo Ko Samui is the proud host of Bengal tigers and leopards.  Wat Khunaram Ko Samui is the island’s famous temple where devotees throng to pay respects to the mummified former abbot of the temple, a meditation master.  Another important shrine on Ko Samui is the Laem Sor Pagoda Ko Samui whose yellow tiles give a golden glow to the shrine.  Koh Samui is also home to the Big Buddha, a 12-metre-high statue of the Budha at the Wat Phra Yai.

Apart from sight seeing, we could also take dance in the Full Moon Party, which is supposed to (according to the internet) the coolest and the hippest dance party ever.

Our search is over, and we are flying there next week, to get our batteries recharged.  Ciao

There are guest houses for $12 a day, mostly outside of Chaweng. Food is a bit pricey because everything comes over on the ferry. If you don't mind open air and rice, rice noodle, noodles, meals are $2. The cheapest would be to fly into BKK and then
