Ibiza, is part of the Balearic Islands in the Mediterranean and is part of Spain. Known for its crazy parties and glorious nightlife Ibiza attracts young clubbers from all over the world. The Island is know for the generations of trendy music which it has turned out over the past 20 years from its famous clubs and DJ’s .And not to forget the famous Ibiza Rocks Hotel which features live bands, which over the past 5 years has become a fast growing trend. So if you’re looking for a clubbing, live music, chill out holiday all related to music, Ibiza is the place. So what sort of hotels goes with music and the trends of the party life in Ibiza?

The 3 major tourist resorts on Ibiza for nightlife and clubbing are Playa Den Bossa, San Antonio and Ibiza Town.

Well we start in Playa Den Bossa with some of the hotels close to Space super club and Bora Bora beach club, first on the list is Hotel Garbi a 4 star hotel with modern design and spa facilities. A very trendy hotel in Playa Den Bossa located right on the beach. The next recommended place is Apartments Migjorn which is another modern design and is just as trendy in style as Hotel Garbi. The Jet Apartments are center stage in Playa Den Bossa because they are located on the beach and next to the famous club Bora Bora.

San Antonio has a huge range of hotels to choose from the main one for clubbers and music lovers is Ibiza Rocks Hotel. The main San Antonio Bay has a huge selection of beach front hotels and apartments all within walking distance of the main San Antonio which has nightlife, restaurants and lots of shops.

Ibiza Town and Talamanca the one special hotel that comes to mind is Hotel Pacha which is located next to the super club Pacha. Also in this area is Gran Hotel Ibiza which is a five star hotel with casino. Another nice hotel is Ocean Drive few minutes’ walk to Pacha.

The International Music Summit here in Ibiza have revealed the panel lineups for this years event at the end of May. Panels that immediately stick out are:

Weds: the Augmented Reality presentation by Nick Heller from Google and the Our Community Is Our Brand as Callum Negus Fancey is on it and he created the stir last year when he famously quoted that “his audience doesn’t know or care who Paul Oakenfold is”.

Thurday: This is an obvious one for anyone who was at the inaugural IMS in 2008 - the clubs panel with representatives from Amnesia, Eden, Es Paradis, Pacha, Privilege and Space - (no El Divino again?)

I am planning a trip to Ibiza next summer (July or August) and want to start booking things now. I have searched numerous websites, blogs etc. Any of you that have been there before, any tips, advice, best hotels, beaches etc to stay would be greatly appreciated. I plan on visiting all the major clubs and was thinking of staying at the Pacha hotel, but there are too many to pick from. Thanks in advance for any replies!!! There are so many fun things to do in Ibiza. I think that the best place to stay would be San Antonio since it is on the North Side of the Island and isn't as crazy as Ibiza town next to the port. It's a small island so getting around isn't that hard. It is also near café del mar which is a great place to watch the sun set and have a drink or two (you don't actually have to be drinking at the actual café to hear the music, you can just buy some liquor and drink on the rocky beach in front of it). Pacha hotel is probably really cool (especially if you are planning on clubbing at Pacha) but it's very expensive. There are some fairly decent places you can stay in San Antonio that are very, very cheap. Your hotel room is pretty much inconsequential since you probably won't be sleeping very much. If you are really in to really heavy, popular electro house, Pacha is a cool place to go, but if you are looking for something else, there are many other good places to go. I would recommend checking out club Space on Sunday morning and afternoon for the "we love space" party. It's a really cool party. What's cool about Ibiza is that it doesn't function on the same schedule that we do, so there are weekday parties that are just as good as the weekend parties. It all depends on when you are booking your flight.
