Big beach bashes by moonlight at Morada Bay

Life in the Keys can be summed up thus: The sun sets. Party.

The full moon rises. Bigger party.

That’s the entire theory behind the monthly full moon beach bashes at Morada Bay in Islamorada.

10 travel resolutions to make in 2012

There's a difference between being budget-conscious and cheap. You don't need to stay in a 5-star hotel to have a great trip, however, you do need to experience the culture, and that means spending a little cash. If there's something you want to do or see remember that you're only a visitor in the city, meaning you only have limited time to see the sites. Don't let cash, or lack of, ruin your...

One should never feel locked in to a specific itinerary. So it is in travel, and so it is in life. The byways and detours are sometimes harrowing, sometimes delightful, but if you're able to keep moving, adapt to your circumstances, and be open to opportunity, great adventure is yours for the taking.

Enjoying The Thailand Full Moon Party

On the Koh Phangan's Haad Rin beach, once a month when the moon rises with all its beauty, crowds gather to view a most enthralling view of the moon. Almost 10,000 people gather on the beach at various venues that host the party like the Backyard Club, Beach House Club, Drop Inn, Cactus Bar, Paradise, Orchid and The Rock to name a few.

The party starts at dusk and the tables are laid out along the beach, lamps are lit and soon enough the moon light takes over and creates the perfect setting for a night out with singing and dancing. There is food and drinks to keep the partiers going through the night. With the perfect warm waters through out the year, the party becomes even more special with many taking a plunge and enjoying the party from the water as well. Anyone and everyone is welcome to join the party as there is no entry fee to the beach and you can enjoy the atmosphere till your hearts content. The only thing you pay for is the food and drinks you enjoy during the night.

A few things to keep in mind always, when you are planning to go to a crowded place are to make sure you leave any valuables, or travel documents, back at your hotel.Keep your wallet and money in front pockets or in places where you will know if someone tries to relieve you of them. You can always find pick pockets at crowded places, be careful and alert to them. Keep your shoes on as there is always a chance of stepping on some broken glass.

Cheap Air Travel Tips to Mexico and the Caribbean | Discount ...

For travelers on a budget, they may take multiple day trips or spend a weekend at a shore. However, you can see exotic places such as Mexico and the Caribbean islands for the same price or even cheaper than local trips. There are 4 tips that you help you save money on your next Mexico or Caribbean vacation.

Buy Inclusive Packages

Most of these inclusive vacation packages are cheaper than buying air and hotel separately. When you buy inclusive vacation packages, it usually includes airfare, hotel, food, and sometime alcohol beverages. So, the only money you would have to bring is for souvenirs.

Fly With Cheaper Airlines

There are many budget airlines that travel all around Mexico and the Caribbean such as ATA, JetBlue , USA 3000, Spirit Airlines, etc. Sometimes, you can save money by getting a direct flight with a budget airline than using popular airlines with multiple layovers.

Travel During Off Season

If you are flexible with your vacation dates, you can save money and avoid the crowds by traveling during off seasons. Instead of traveling during peak times like June, July, and August, you can find deals during the late winter and early spring months. (Plus, the islands are not too hot during these times.) However if you prefer to vacation in the summer months, there are last minute deals for Mexican and Caribbean vacation packages or cruises, which can save you even more money.

Visit CheapCaribbean.com

By going to CheapCaribbean.com, you can find the latest online deals for Mexican and Caribbean vacations. Instead of spending hours looking vacation deals, CheapCaribbean.com finds the best Mexican and Caribbean deals and passes the savings along to you. In addition to the already discounted vacations at CheapCaribbean.com, you can save more money with cheapcaribbean codes for Cheapcaribbean by visiting the link below.

How To Survive Your First Full Moon Party » Travel Generation

With Base hostel’s 50th Full Moon Party celebrations happening on Magnetic Island this Friday 12th September, we thought it would be an awesome opportunity to give you some fool-proof tips on surviving your first or twenty-first Full Moon Party - wherever it may be!

Pretty much every person’s motives are the same when attending a Full Moon Party - get loose and party hard.  In doing so, it’s worth trying to keep your wits (relatively) about you!

Only bring with you items that you don’t mind losing or getting stolen - carry as little cash as possible Stay close to your mates as best you can - whatever state you end up in, it’s best to be close to people you can trust Try to buy your alcohol and anything else from a recognised store or vendor, not from a complete randomer Carry your resort details in your pocket/ purse in case of emergency Wear shoes or flip-flops to avoid cutting your feet to bits on broken bottles Never carry drugs on your person - there are incredibly strict laws against them, particularly in Thailand

Keeping all these ’sensible’ tips in mind, get out there, get loose and have an absolute blast, Full Moon Parties are always awesome!

Bangkok, Thailand | Blogorati.NET

Bangkok, Thailand
10th May 2010 Another 3 weeks gone and I barely notice the time flying by. I left you last time in my little house on the beach in Koh Pha Ngan. Katy and I bought a DVD player for £12 and have been watching lots of £1 dvd’s from the local shop. Sherlock Holmes with English subtitles (we couldn’t turn them off) written by a Thai who couldn’t speak English was a scream. We haven’t laughed so much in ages. Katy completed her silver jewellery course which included cutting the stone, cutting and rolling the silver and then setting the stones, it was amazing despite the fact she broke every saw in the shop. I think the owner was proud of her work and glad to see her go! I completed my PADI training and spent some time diving off the coral reef on Koh Pha Ngan and also at Koh Tao one of the most beautiful spots in Thailand. However the most fun was had when i took Katy back there for us to snorkel and she was “attacked” by a shoal of zebra fish. You’d think we were in the water with Jaws when they were just being friendly. I discovered afterwards that she had actually been nipped but by a cleaner fish – I think zebra fish will be in her nightmares for a while though. We were very laid back and life went very quickly on the island, so much so that we missed the second full moon party because we were too tired to get out of the hammock and go  We did decide to walk through the jungle one day to reach a deserted beach called Bottle Beach. Apparently this is a beautiful half moon beach with white sand and pure green water that only the long termers on the island go to as there are no roads to it. We followed an easy trail (marked by empty water bottles) round the island bluff and across the headland only to find it getting harder and harder. The walk was marked as 2 hours maximum but after 4 hours of hard jungle climbing (2 of which were without water) we realised we could still be doing this in the dark and with no hope of getting back...

Is the first chapter of my "book" worthy of anything, or is it just another pathetic teenage novel?

April 16, 2010 at 01:54 AM by John | Posted in Books & Authors

Q: Last time I posted it, it didnt fit the whole thing, so here it is. Most of the time, when I read teenage author's pieces, I want to puke. Am I hypocritical? Is the book interesting, or better yet, is it well written?

A: the beginning is completely overdone.
I think we understand shes elegant but some of that is just stupidly unnecessary.
sorry, i couldn't read anymore after that.

I mean... I also have a hard time stomaching teen novels, so I found her intro purple. That could be good or bad. Your next step depends on what you want to do. IMO, the way you wrote it is textbook romantic; the world you've described is soft-focus

Okay, I was watching jeopardy while I was reading this so I wasn't paying as much attention as I should be. I don't really get what the invention is. What is it? But other than that the writing is really really good. I'm really surprised you're only 14.

First thing, that kind of writing for a 14 year old is amazing.
Here is my opinion as a teen:

I don't know what your story is about, so It's hard for me to really give an opinion about the story itself, then I'll talk about the writing.

Firstly, congratulations you write quite well for a 14 year old, probably better than most adults.
There are a few things though that you may want to change as you gain more experience and adapt to different styles. You have a great way of explaining

who would the scorpio man pick - pisces or leo woman?
